What’s Cookin’ Wednesday – Boss Hogg’s BBQ

our take

Jenny and I went to Boss Hogg’s Bar B’ Que this week. We have driven by hundreds of times, but never stopped in. We ordered BBQ pork for 4, thinking we can eat a sandwich that day for dinner and lunch the next day. We had enough and then some. The meat was very tender and tasty.

The pork came with 2 types of sauce, one was mild and one was bold, both were good. The baked beans were too sweet for my taste, but Jenny loved them. The Mac and Cheese was good as well.

The place was very busy and could have had a better flow, people were a little bunched up at the register. There was both indoor and outdoor seating but we did take-out. I would suggest calling ahead if you are doing take-out. We will definitely be back.
