Shades of the Past Pigeon Forge Car Show
Location: Dollywood’s Splash Country
September 6-7
This is one of the three largest car shows in Pigeon Forge. The others are the Spring and Fall Rod Runs.
The Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup consists of rods, classics, and customs up to 1972 so you can expect to see all sorts of Deuce Coupes, ’57 Chevys, roadsters, and more. If you like cars this is a great way to spend a September weekend.

Pigeon Forge Fall Rod Run
Location: LeConte Center Pigeon Forge
The Fall Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, TN is one of the “big 3” car shows that takes place in Pigeon Forge each year….the other two being the Spring Rod Run and Shades of the Past. This Pigeon Forge Fall rod run 2019 is one of the most popular car shows in Pigeon Forge simply because of the cooler weather and the lack of summertime visitors! This Pigeon Forge rod run features thousands of hot rods and muscle cars of numerous years, makes, models, colors, and sizes. It’s eye-candy for car lovers! Although This event technically starts on September 12th the cars usually line up along the Parkway days early to get “prime” spots. Find more information about this show here!
